How to return a book on audible

I didn’t even know you could return a book on audible for a long time and once I did, I felt a bit bad doing it. But if you are not enjoying a title then you shouldn’t be stuck with something you won’t ever listen to. I’ve returned 2 out of my last 20 titles and both were because I really didn’t like them and only got a few chapters in. Sometimes the narration alone is enough to stop you listening. If you want to return an audiobook on audible, here is how.

First of all, you can’t return a book within the audible app. You need to go to the desktop site or mobile web.

How many books can you return on audible?

There doesn’t appear to be a hard rule.

Audible states: “Our exchange policy is risk-free. It allows active members to take a chance on a new narrator or story without losing a credit. Our ability to continue to offer this benefit is dependent on our members using it for this purpose only. In instances where we find the benefit is being overused, we may reach out to assess why.”

I’ve only returned 2 titles this year but if anyone has ever reached the limit or been contacted I would be interested to know what that limit or behaviour was.
